We are looking for an experienced seamstress to join our team, based at our studio in Harlaxton-Grantham.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in sewing womenswear, an understanding of couture techniques including boning and corsetry is preferrable. You will require attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Skills and experience required-
· A minimum of 4-5 years' experience sewing bridal/eveningwear.
· Able to use a lockstitch and overlocker machine.
· Competent with hand sewing methods.
· Previous experience working with lace, silk and stretch fabrics.
· Understanding on measuring garments and patterns.
· A keen interest in luxury womenswear/bridalwear.
· Highly organised and resilient.
· Good communication skills.
· Highly efficient with time.
· Flexible working approach and able to adapt to the needs of the team.
Salary and Benefits-
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5.00pm based at our Studio in Harlaxton- Grantham.
Holidays: 20 + bank holidays.
