Job Description
Ultra Maritime Sonar Systems offers a two-year graduate scheme. The programme gives you the chance to design solutions and solve problems across a diverse range of projects and programmes. Starting in August 2026, you will complete several placements around the business, designed to support your career objectives and development. These placements will allow you to utilise and build your skills across the engineering disciplines and gain knowledge of the wider business, such as Project Management, Sales and Marketing, Commercial and Operations.
Responsibilities
* Work with Support Considerations across Reliability & Maintainability (Reliability Prediction, RBDs, FTAs, FMEAs, MTAs, FRACAS/DRACAS, etc.)
* Engage in Integrated Logistics Support, including LCC, LORA, sparing, technical authoring, obsolescence, etc.
* Contribute to Operational Analysis & Whole Life Cost Modelling – Business Case Analysis, etc.
* Develop, design and deliver Training content.
* Collaborate with various ILS disciplines: Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Human Factors, Training, Lifecycle Engineering, and Support Solution Design.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2.1 level bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or STEM subject. Masters and PhD candidates are equally welcome.
* Any previous work experience such as internships or work placements is a bonus.
* May be required to maintain security clearance. Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance for the role.
