What you will be doing
* Support Clinical Pharmacists by reviewing prescription requests and associated patient documentation prior to prescribing and dispensing.
* Assess patient records and supporting documentation to ensure eligibility for treatment in line with clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
* Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information and raise queries to the Clinical Pharmacist team.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and prescription records within internal systems.
* Collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and patient support teams to deliver a seamless patient experience.
* Respond to internal queries relating to prescription processing and documentation requirements.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and quality assurance procedures.
* Support onboarding and training of junior team members where required.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with relevant pharmacy regulations and best practice guidance.
What you will need
* Hold a Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent qualification).
* Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
* Have previous experience working in a pharmacy, primary care, or broader healthcare setting.
* Possess a strong understanding of pharmacy regulations, governance, and standard operating procedures.
* Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of work accurately.
* Be highly organised with strong administrative and documentation review skills.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient‑centred approach to care.
* Be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and evolving healthcare environment.
* Experience in primary care, reviewing prescriptions, patient eligibility criteria, or clinical documentation is preferred.
