1. Collect, validate, and submit PCI and other cardiology data to national audits using NICOR systems.
2. Perform rigorous data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission.
3. Maintain and update local databases and dashboards for performance monitoring.
4. Use hospital systems and electronic patient records to extract relevant clinical information.
5. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for data collection and validation.
6. Ensure compliance with GDPR and Trust data protection policies

Qualifications
Essential criteria
7. RSA III or equivalent touch typing / computer skills
8. Good level of general education - numeracy and literacy
Desirable criteria
9. A level or equivalent
10. medical terminology course
Experience
Essential criteria
11. Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment
12. Demonstrable experience in a data collection and validation
13. Understanding audit processes and data quality standards
Desirable criteria
14. previous experience with national cardiac audits
15. experience in producing reports for clinical teams
Technical skills
Essential criteria
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel ( Data entry, formulas)
17. Ability to use hospital information systems and databases
Desirable criteria
18. Advanced excel skills - pivot tables, charts
19. Experience with hospital systems - tomcat, MUSE, EPR, ECAMIS
20. Experience with audit submission platforms - NICOR
Knowledge
Essential criteria
21. Understanding of data governance, confidentiality and GDPT
Desirable criteria
22. Knowledge of PCI procedures and cardiology pathways
