PCV Driver Location: EH16 4BB Rate of Pay: £14.51 per hour Hours of Work: MondayFriday, 36 hours per week Duration: Temporary Ongoing Start Date: ASAP
- Valid UK driving licence with D1 category
- This role is subject to a PVG check new applicants £59, update applications £18.
- Full training, PPE, and overtime opportunities provided.

The PCV Driver will:
- Safely transport passengers to and from school, day centres, and community activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
- Provide assistance when boarding and leaving the vehicle, offering patient and respectful support tailored to each individuals needs.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and promptly report any maintenance concerns.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with passengers, families, and staff, promoting a calm and friendly atmosphere.
- Follow all road safety regulations and organisational policies to the highest standard.
- Have previous experience supporting children or adults with additional needs or vulnerabilities (highly desirable).
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be compassionate, patient, and committed to safeguarding and wellbeing.
