This is a hybrid role. The Business Development Executive team works from our London (Shoreditch) office 4-5 days per week for the first 3 months, with the opportunity to work in the office 3 days per week afterward.
Available start date: 18/08/25
Compensation: Uncapped commission structure (OTE £60k-£70k)
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts.
* Handling the entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting to ramping up card spend and account management.
* This is a telephone-based role (no face-to-face or field sales involved).
* Contactting SME owner-directors to sell our award-winning business credit card.
* Making 30-50 outbound cold calls per day.
* Identifying target industries and organizations by working closely with the sales & growth teams.
* Prospecting into target organizations using various outbound sales tools, campaigns, and referrals.
* Updating and managing all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM.
* Consistently achieving monthly KPIs and new acquisition targets.
* Contributing to revenue growth through consultative sales and strategic account management.
We’re Looking For
* 1-2+ years of telesales experience (ideally in B2B, but not required).
* Proven ability to handle high volume outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
* Experience in a 360 sales cycle.
* A track record of working to KPIs.
* Understanding of SMEs and their financial workings.
* Enthusiasm for building client relationships across various channels including phone, email, and video calls.
