Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Avery Healthcare

Responsibilities
* Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating written records to reflect any variation.
* Involvement in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where required.
* Acting as a key point of contact with residents, relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About You
To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.
* Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
