Overview
The Fire Systems Project Manager will take responsibility for delivering fire alarm and fire systems installation projects from pre-start through to final handover. Working across a portfolio of projects primarily within the M25, you will manage programmes, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.
Responsibilities
* Manage multiple fire systems installation projects from award to completion
* Oversee project delivery on sites mainly within London and the M25
* Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification
* Manage programmes, labour planning, and material procurement
* Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and main contractors
* Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates
* Manage variations, cost control, and project reporting
* Ensure full compliance with relevant fire standards and regulations
* Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover documentation
Essential
Key Requirements
* Proven experience delivering fire systems installation projects
* Background in fire alarm systems (not passive fire or sprinklers)
* Experience working on projects up to c. £2m in value (or progressing towards this level)
* Strong understanding of installation processes, testing, and commissioning
* Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Good commercial awareness and organisational skills
* Based in London or commutable to Canary Wharf
Desirable
* Experience progressing from fire engineer, commissioning engineer, or installation background
* Previous role as Project Manager, Small Works Manager, or similar
* FIA or relevant fire industry training and certifications

* Base salary: £55,000 + 5% bonus + company car or Up to £60,000 base salary with company car (no commission)
