Parking Enforcement Officer Grantham/Stamford – Fixed term (1—April — 31st October 2026)

If this sounds like you, we are recruiting Parking Enforcement Officers to cover Grantham and Stamford on a fixed term contract ending on 31st October 2025, with a view to becoming permanent.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring all drivers follow parking policies on public streets and in car parks.
* Ensuring emergency vehicle access is not blocked and the road is safe for all members of the public.
Parking Enforcement Officers patrol public streets and local council car parks, issue Penalty Charge Notices, report defective signs and road markings, identify and report abandoned vehicles, and advise motorists where required.
What will you bring?
* Excellent customer service and communication skills with an appropriate level of English.
* A desire to work outdoors, walking long distances in all weathers on patrol.
* A full UK clean drivers licence.
What is on offer to you?
* Full uniform.
* One late shift per week (11.30–21.30), the other four shifts daytime hours notified in advance.
* £12.35 hourly rate | 45 hours per week.
Retention Bonus Terms & Conditions
There will be a £1,000 retention bonus paid at the end of your employment subject to the following criteria:
* You do not leave the role prior to the end of the fixed term contract.
* You have no or minimal absence during this time.
If a permanent contract is offered to you at the end of the fixed term, you will no longer be qualified for the retention bonus; you will be given a permanent role instead.
