Part-Time Receptionist (Maternity Cover) – Leighton Buzzard The Dental Design Studio (Premier Enterprises Clinic)
We are looking for a warm, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Receptionist to join our friendly team in Leighton Buzzard on a maternity cover basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, patient-focused dental practice where you’ll be an essential part of delivering a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Role Details:
Contract: Maternity cover (duration to be confirmed)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 26.5 hours across 5 days
Exact hours: To be confirmed at interview stage
Start date: As soon as possible
What We’re Looking For:
A minimum of 1–2 years of previous reception experience, ideally in a dental or medical environment
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
Professional, friendly, and confident approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Calm, organised, and methodical, especially under pressure
A commitment to providing outstanding service at every patient touchpoint
Qualified dental nurses are also welcome to apply
Main Responsibilities:
Welcoming patients and creating a friendly first impression
Managing appointments – booking, updating, and rescheduling
Handling patient enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Carrying out opening and closing procedures
Taking payments and promoting the practice to new patients
Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with daily operations
