We are seeking a Floating Sous Chef to join the kitchen teams across the RAD Hotel Group, primarily supporting our Ayrshire venues with potential to assist across the wider group when required. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and adaptable culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting multiple teams and venues.
As Floating Sous Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining high culinary standards, supporting kitchen operations, and providing leadership across a variety of our award-winning hotels and restaurants. Working closely with Head Chefs and senior kitchen management, you will help ensure consistency, quality, and exceptional guest experiences across the group.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Support kitchen operations across multiple RAD Hotel Group venues, primarily within Ayrshire.
* Provide cover for Sous Chef and senior kitchen positions where required.
* Support Head Chefs in maintaining high food quality, presentation, and service standards.
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and kitchen organization during service.
* Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and company standards.
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste.
* Support, motivate, and develop junior kitchen team members.
* Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams and wider hotel operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie within high-volume or quality-focused kitchens.
* A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across different venues and teams.
* Strong culinary skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience in banqueting and events is advantageous.
* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A full driving licence and flexibility to travel between venues is essential.
