Job Details Facilities Technician JOB PURPOSE The role of the Facilities Technician is to: The Facilities Maintenance Technician role carries out diverse maintenance activities, fundamental to the maintenance and enhancement of the properties owned or leased as part of the Harwoods Group property portfolio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Essential: Ensure a high-quality finish in respect of all painting and decorating works undertaken across locations. Manage the upkeep of Facilities utilised equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards and certification i.e tools used solely by the team. Ensure personal certification & training courses are up to date to ensure Internal and External H&S compliance. Liaise with third party contractors where tasks cannot be carried out by the Harwoods Facilities Teams and perform as contact point for building engineering team, outside vendors and contractors on special projects. Perform routine and ad hoc facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations or brand standards. Respond to emergencies. Comply with all safety procedures and requirements. Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required. Review/Define processes for dealing with facilities activities to ensure consistency in delivery. Effectively prioritise those tasks that may incur significant risk to staff or property. Ensure all tasks are recorded, allocated and updated using appropriate administrative tools Manage costs for maintenance work Skills & Requirements Full UK Driving License Competent in literacy, numeracy and IT Experience Desirable One year of experience in an equivalent or similar role and field.
