Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading RIBA chartered practices who offer award-winning design services to the industrial, retail, commercial, and leisure sectors. They are on the lookout for a talented Principal Designer to join their team in Leicester.
Responsibilities
* Help deliver technical projects from planning stages through to new build delivery
* Implement the requirements of Building safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
* Lead the design team and other project team members, as well liaising with clients
* Carry out site visits and ensure projects comply with regulations and high ethical standards are achieved
Qualifications
* Relevant degree within architecture
* Strong experience working within a health and safety, design, or project management role
* Strong interest in health and safety issues and risk management
* Strong attention to detail
* Experience with The Building Safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Live within a commutable distance to the Leicester area
