We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and movements.
* Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
* Perform stocking duties, ensuring shelves are replenished and products are accessible.
* Execute picking and packing tasks accurately for outgoing shipments.
* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
* Conduct heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment.
* Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
Skills
* Proven experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with warehouse operations.
* Proficiency in forklift operation is advantageous.
* Knowledge of materials handling techniques to ensure safe movement of goods.
* Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is beneficial.
* Mechanical knowledge is an asset for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
* Experience in construction or related fields can enhance understanding of materials used in the warehouse.
