What You’ll Be Doing
* End-to-End design of requirements requested by the business.
* Code Reviews.
* Architecture and Application Documentation, including those used for Security Assessments.
* Research & Development for core libraries used throughout the Travel platforms (e.g., Logging, Authentication, SQL Abstraction).
* Mentor, coach, and support Product Development teams.
* Use of customer insights to provide direction for business initiatives.
* Ensure best practice customer initiatives are adopted and applied.
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers within company guidelines, regulatory obligations and SLAs.
* Collaborate and provide regular reporting and updates with key stakeholders across the Cover-More Group.
* Demonstrate an excellent understanding of, or willingness to learn, current and emerging trends in the .NET, Angular and AWS spaces.
* Take ownership and drive the team forward by suggesting solutions without prompting.
* Confidently read, debug and refactor even unfamiliar codebases.
* Stay up to date with the latest technological improvements and be willing to try them out.
What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey
* Minimum of five years’ experience working as a full stack Software Engineer and/or Platform Developer, including at least two years at a Senior level.
* Experience designing AWS Cloud Native applications.
* Minimum of a 2-year degree.
* Strong .NET, JavaScript or TypeScript coding experience.
