Job Title: Teaching Assistant – SEMH / Behaviour Support
Pay Rate: £85.13 - £95.63
Location: Worcester
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at a “Good” Ofsted-rated school based in Worcester. The school provides bespoke education up to GCSE level for students who have experienced challenges in mainstream education, particularly around behaviour and engagement. This is a PRU establishment.

Requirements:
Experience supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs
Ability to work under the guidance of teaching staff to deliver tailored support
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
A team player committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with severe and complex needs, helping to overcome barriers to learning
Assist in the planning and delivery of individual or group support programmes
Promote inclusion and equal opportunities for all students
Foster a purposeful and safe learning environment
Collaborate closely with staff, students, and families to promote progress and positive outcomes
