Job Title: Remedials Project Engineer, Location: Stourbridge
Responsibilities
* Liaising with clients, suppliers and Site Managers/Supervisors
* Assisting with the procurement of labour, equipment and fabrication
* Assisting with the cost control of contracts/projects
* Maintaining compliance of projects with issued and approved method statements and risk assessments
* Ensuring all documentation is completed and kept up to date
* Preparing cost estimates, quotations and technical submissions
* Providing technical support and guidance to field engineers and installers
* Managing project documentation including RAMS, permits and completion certificates
* Resolving technical issues and escalating where necessary
Essential Skills
* Experience of commercial sprinkler installations
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Understanding of Sprinkler related standards (BS EN12845, LPC Rules & BS9990)
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work well using own initiative as well as within a team environment
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desirable Skills
* CSCS/CCNSG Card
* LPCB Design qualification
