Garden Machinery Mechanic (Mobile) Guildford
Location: Guildford
Salary: Competitive DOE
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am 5pm, Friday 8am 4pm (Overtime available paid at 1.5x)
Holt Automotive is working on behalf of a respected family-run dealer group in the Agricultural & Groundcare sector to recruit a Garden Machinery Mechanic working on a mobile basis, covering Guildford and surrounding areas.
About the Role
As a Garden Machinery Mechanic, you will play a vital role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of garden machinery including mowers, hedge trimmers, strimmers, compact tractors, and similar equipment. You will deliver exceptional service to customers while being part of a friendly and supportive team at this well-established, customer-focused business.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
1. Holds a valid UK driving licence.
2. Has previous experience working with garden machinery (or similar sectors such as agricultural, plant, or small engine equipment).
3. Possesses strong technical knowledge of small petrol/diesel engines, basic electrics, and mechanical systems.
4. Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
