Financial Reporting Manager

£50,000 – £55,000 (DOE)

Are you a technically strong finance professional looking to step into a high-impact role with real visibility across a business and its parent group? We’re looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Finance Director.
This is a key position responsible for leading all internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and acting as the go-to expert on technical accounting matters.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting (including IFRS)
* Managing statutory reporting and external submissions
* Overseeing tax compliance (Corporation Tax, VAT, Bingo Duty, Machine Games Duty)
* Preparing tax estimates, returns, and supporting external advisors (KPMG)
* Driving KPI reporting and supporting budgeting processes
* Managing R&D tax credits and capital allowance claims
* Supporting acquisitions with completion accounts
* Maintaining the tax risk register and ensuring robust governance
* Submitting ONS and CSR reports
* Supporting wider finance projects and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified finance professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) – essential
* Strong experience in financial reporting, tax, and compliance
* Solid understanding of IFRS and technical accounting standards
* Proactive, detail-driven, and confident working cross-functionally
* A positive, “can-do” attitude with strong leadership and communication skills
