Engineering Manager - Multi Utilities
About The Role
Balfour Beatty is recruiting an Engineering Manager - Multi Utilities to join their Power T&D Team in Warrington. The EM is responsible for design management and engineering governance of utilities engineering projects from opportunity to completion. The role involves working with the Sales Lead, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring resource capability throughout project delivery.
What you'll be doing
* Engage with internal teams: Heads of Engineering, Engineering/Design teams, Operations, Sales Bid Lead.
* Engage with external stakeholders: client representatives, oversee design delivery, manage scope and technical change, produce monthly reports, support contract negotiations, maintain key project documents, and ensure compliance with Balfour Beatty governance and customer requirements.
Who we're looking for
* Supporting teams to deliver programmes safely, on time, on budget and to high quality.
* Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
* Good technical grounding, engineering delivery experience.
* Project leadership at a management level, delivering a range of projects from standard to complex.
* Experience in highly regulated industries.
* Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams.
