Responsibilities
Working independently, the post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support for the Bridgend District Nursing service and the wider integrated health and social care team over a 7‑day rota period, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings. Responsibilities include:
* Utilising IT systems such as Civica Scheduling to support District Nursing Service patient caseload management.
* Managing face‑to‑face and telephone enquiries from staff and members of the public, maintaining confidentiality.
* Inputting data onto spreadsheets daily and supporting staff with IT packages.
* Creating and maintaining accurate electronic patient archival records in line with the Health Board data‑management and retention policy.
* Retrieving patient records on request in a timely manner and responding to complex queries.
* Behaving consistently with the values and beliefs of the Health Board and fostering sound working relationships with other team members.
* Using initiative and taking responsibility for the quality of work delivered to the Community Network team and patients.
Qualifications
Welsh language skills are desirable (Level 3 speaking & listening, equivalent to CEFR B2 or above). The post holder will have excellent communication skills and be able to signpost individuals to appropriate services when necessary. Knowledge of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board policies and procedures is required.
