We're looking for a Project Director to join our Natural Resources team and become a core member of our Thames Water framework.
Location: Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire - some working from home available with travel across the Thames Water Region.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.
Responsibilities
We're looking for a Project Director to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit. The role will provide leadership to a large-scale project of critical importance to our client. The project involves the design, construction, and commissioning of Thames Capital Works, aiming to upgrade wastewater treatment capacity, meet environmental regulations, and ensure sustainability and community benefits without network disruption.
Your Day To Day Will Include
* Develop collaborative client management relationships to mutual benefit through anticipating client needs, exceeding expectations, and fostering open communication.
* Provide overall leadership and direction for the project, ensuring it meets objectives within budget, schedule, and quality constraints.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive project management plan, including risk management, communication, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
* Manage project budget and track expenditures with accountability.
* Oversee design and construction activities, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
What are we looking for?
This Project Director role is ideal if you have:
* Extensive project management experience and delivery of high-value infrastructure projects.
* Experience leading large, complex infrastructure projects, preferably in water/wastewater industries.
* A proven track record in client relationships and securing work on major schemes.
* A degree in a related field and proficiency in project management software and construction documentation tools.
