What You’ll Do
* Commission all aspects of the emergency lighting systems, ensuring that the system complies with the relevant British Standards.
* Carry out routine maintenance of emergency lighting systems.
* Conduct fault diagnosis on emergency lighting systems and understand the results so that correct rectification work can be identified and completed.
* Jobs will be assigned to you and completed in a timely manner with detailed reports provided to document the work completed and any relevant recommendations.
* Customer liaison will be essential to the role, so good communication skills are required.
Qualifications
* Qualified Electrician (C&G or NVQ minimum).
Skills
* A good understanding of BS5266.
* Willing to travel across the UK and stay overnight up to a week at a time.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Microsoft packages: Outlook, Excel, Word.
* Good listening, influencing, and communication skills.
