We’re looking for an experienced senior public health professional to become our next Director of Public Health—someone with the vision, drive, and expertise to shape a healthier future for our residents and visitors.

Reporting directly to our new Executive Director of Adult Social Services (DASS), and with direct access to our Chief Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping public health strategy at the highest level. You’ll advise elected members, senior leaders and lead a substantial and talented team.
Main duties of the job
You must
* Be a registered GMC, GDC, or UKPHR public health specialist with substantial experience of public health practice and a deep understanding of public health policy and best practice nationally and locally. Your salary will be reflective of your level of experience.
