The role: A pivotal role, with a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Civil Sales Manager will: Have responsibility for driving sales performance and hitting revenue targets in the civil engineering and construction materials sector. Be experienced in building and and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, clients and key stakeholders within the civil engineering sector. Bring on new business opportunities, expand an already large customer base and strengthen the company's position in the market. Ensure customer satisfaction and seamless delivery of services. Deliver precise cost estimates for civil engineering and construction projects to support competitive and profitable tender submissions. Lead the bid and tendering process to secure new projects, in line with company standards client requirements. The person: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 3 years of management experience, leading sales teams. Strong sales and estimating experience in the civil engineering/construction sector. Ability to read drawings and bar schedules. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Proven leadership and team management experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. On offer: Salary from £50,000 per year. Performance Related Pay bonus.
