We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school based in Liverpool.\n\nThis role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to engage positively with learning and develop emotionally, socially, and academically.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs\n\n * \n\n Support emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development\n\n * \n\n Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated and engaging lessons\n\n * \n\n Implement behaviour support plans and individual strategies\n\n * \n\n Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils\n\n * \n\n Promote a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment\n\n * \n\n Support pupils during transitions, break times, and interventions\n\n * \n\n Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff\n\n * \n\n Follow safeguarding, child protection, and behaviour policies\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Experience working with children with SEMH or challenging behaviour\n\n * \n\n Patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligent approach\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and teamwork skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to remain calm in challenging situations\n\n * \n\n Commitment to inclu...
