Senior Finance Analyst RTR ( Remote with 2 days based in Hayes Middlesex)
Contract Type: 12-month FTC
Location: Hayes
Hybrid working - Must be able to commute to the office 2 days a week
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:
1. Perform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions as directed like month end, reconciliations ( Open Book Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue BS Rec, etc.), fixed assets accounting etc.
2. Open book equalisations
3. Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, BU FC's and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes
4. Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making
5. Effectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production
6. Participate in process improvement workshops and activity
7. Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations
8. Deliver the processe s in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management
9. Support change programmes
10. Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager
11. Manage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met
12. Ad hoc tasks as required Any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
13. Strong excel skills, Power BI/Queries a bonus
14. Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
15. Ability to work well in a team
16. Strong financial and analytical skills
17. Customer-facing experience
18. Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
19. Experience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry – desirable
20. Business partnering experience - desirable
