Chief Executive We are seeking an experienced and values driven Chief Executive to lead a growing charity and deliver inclusive impact across Stockton-on-Tees. Position: Chief Executive Salary: £42,000 to £46,000 per annum plus 5% pension Location: Stockton-on-Tees with some home working by agreement Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Condensed hours or part time considered, minimum 3 days per week Contract: Permanent following 6 month probation Responsible to: Board of Trustees, primarily the Chair About the Role This is a pivotal leadership opportunity within a young organisation founded in 2021, now entering its next phase of consolidation and development. You will lead a small team of fewer than 10 staff alongside volunteers and will be responsible for: - Leading the implementation of the organisation's strategy - Working closely with the Board to support strong governance and periodic strategy review - Leading and developing staff and volunteers, ensuring supervision, appraisal and training - Embedding and promoting an inclusive culture internally and externally - Overseeing financial management, reporting, audit preparation and compliance - Leading income generation including relationships with public sector commissioners, trusts and donors - Monitoring impact, evidencing outcomes and maintaining reporting systems - Developing strategic and operational partnerships across sectors - Promoting the charity externally and growing its influence About You You will be an experienced leader with a strong track record of strategic delivery and income generation within the voluntary or related sector.
