Location: Hatfield, AL10 9AB. Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
We are looking for a Technical Services Maintenance Manager with Hard Services FM experience, to work at one of our client sites, University of Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities
* Lead the technical services teams to drive technical excellence and ensure SHE policies are rigorously enforced with a compilation of technical reports.
* Liaise with and understand client needs; own and deliver larger/technically complex services.
* Drive energy/financial improvements and efficiencies; create and deliver related monthly performance reports.
* Act as Technical Subject Matter Expert and lead definition of client needs; sourcing solutions/projects, submitting quotes, processing orders.
* Oversee and/or deliver projects on time, on budget, and in compliance with laws, regulations, client standards and policies.
* Support and lead site engineering teams with Asset Life Cycle and Performance Management, and Planned Preventative Maintenance.
* Create and support training and process guides for site leads; work with the client to define and deliver initiatives; collaborate with other FM teams.
Qualifications
* Experience in Electrical, HVAC or water services.
* Demonstrable experience as a technical manager.
* Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing energy management strategy for a client.
* Experience in Project Management.
* Ability to use computers to intermediate level for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Experience of H&S i.e., IOSH or NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
* Full UK driver’s license.
* Dynamic with great communication skills with all levels of the business.
* Able to manage teams of engineers and sub contractors.
Desirable
* C&G Electrical qualification 18th Edition.
* Degree or other qualification in engineering or building services.
* Experience in CMMS system (ideally E-logs).
* Experience of HV systems.
