Your new role You will be part of a dedicated and collaborative team delivering street lighting services within a civil engineering environment. The role focuses on supporting the planning, delivery, and implementation of lighting and electrical works. The ideal candidate will * Support the planning and delivery of street lighting maintenance, renewal, and upgrade works, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and budget requirements. * Assist with the development and application of procedures and processes that support the effective operation of the street lighting network. * Work alongside technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure street lighting works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. * Coordinate with internal teams to align street lighting activities with wider civil and infrastructure projects. * Contribute to monitoring network performance and identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational outcomes. About you You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You are organised, adaptable, and able to manage your workload effectively across multiple tasks and projects. Ideally, you will be able to tick off most of the below: * Experience in street lighting or electrical works, including installation, maintenance, or upgrade projects. * A strong understanding of health and safety requirements and the ability to work in accordance with company and regulatory standards. * Knowledge of modern street lighting technologies, such as LED luminaires, lighting control systems, or smart infrastructure solutions. * Ability to engage with stakeholders and communicate clearly, including through digital platforms where required. * An interest in emerging technologies, industry developments, and best practices within street lighting and civil infrastructure.
