Job Description :
The Assistant Manager, Procurement Planning is responsible for supporting the Supply Planning and Inventory Manager in ensuring that the supply plans are managed and executed efficiently and timely to deliver optimal inventory levels. Ensures that material planning and supplier capacities are aligned with business objectives. Key deliverables include on-time delivery, warehouse stock service levels, and monthly intake targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing daily supply planning and inventory operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
* Support the implementation of supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Conduct Material Requirements Planning for diamonds & overall supply plan execution.
* Maintain accurate Order Book and reconcile weekly.
* Manage Supply Planning Administrators to ensure POs are raised, managed, amended, and received in a timely manner.
* Ensure supply plans adhere to lead time, MOQ, and updated COGs, respecting matrix criteria.
* Act as the point of contact for suppliers (including Polished Division) for visibility, commitments, and plans.
* Analyze suppliers’ scorecards, spending, and purchasing trends (Diamonds & Finished Goods).
* Monitor and analyze suppliers’ stock levels, reconciliation, and stock takes.
* Coordinate with Finance for invoice reconciliations.
* Maintain procurement plans and update regularly.
* Update supply plans and orders based on monthly reforecasting.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive supply chain and inventory initiatives.
* Take accountability for delivering results contributing to business success.
* Monitor and report on supply chain and inventory performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
