Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
* Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by bakers or kitchen staffs.
* Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen.
* Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and readily available for use.
* Help with the proper storage of food items, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Support chefs during busy periods by providing assistance as needed.
* Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety standards.
* Maintain a positive attitude while working in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
* Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and health regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent stamina to work long hours.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
