Are you a Gynaecology Healthcare Assistant (HCA) looking for weekend work with excellent pay rates? We are seeking passionate HCAs to join us across the country, working alongside top professionals and under the guidance of our experienced 18 Week Clinical and Nurse Leads.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of a healthcare assistant (HCA) in a gynaecology outpatient department include:
1. Patient Support: Welcoming patients, making them comfortable, and preparing them for examinations or procedures.
2. Chaperoning: Acting as a chaperone during intimate examinations to ensure patient dignity and safety.
3. Clinical Assistance: Assisting nurses and doctors during procedures such as colposcopies and biopsies, preparing equipment, and maintaining cleanliness.
4. Administrative Tasks: Managing patient notes, updating records, and assisting with clinic flow.
5. Infection Control: Cleaning and preparing rooms between patients, following all infection prevention protocols.
6. Stock Management: Checking and restocking supplies and equipment.
These duties support the smooth and safe operation of the clinic while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Person Specification
Experience (Essential):
* Minimum 2 years experience in an outpatient setting.
* Practiced within Gynaecology outpatients for at least 6 months over the past year.
Additional requirements
