Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
The Role
As the post holder, you will be expected to have an extensive understanding of Building Services Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & associated assets). You will lead the engineering team, overseeing inspection, operation, and maintenance of assets within the critical facility, focusing on service quality and customer satisfaction.
You will ensure personnel conduct is safe, professional, and conscientious, attend site meetings, and promote a Safety-First culture, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work and safety procedures.
You will be authorized to issue PTWs, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant procedures.
Key Tasks
* Supervision and support of the engineering team.
* Operate facility systems effectively, including LV Switching Operations.
* Make improvement recommendations and prepare technical reports.
* Manage the operation of all building systems and assets, ensuring statutory compliance.
* Plan and support vendor works, ensuring proper change management approval.
* Ensure vendor work quality and compliance with SLAs.
* Operate and monitor the Corrigo CMMS system for work orders and tasks.
* Accurately complete work orders, including time and work details.
* Report on system availability and risks daily.
* Participate in meetings, prepare reports, and manage critical spares.
* Manage incident reporting, maintenance, and system reviews.
* Contribute to continuous safety improvements and escalate vendor issues as needed.
* Support resource planning and site coverage, including on-call duties.
* Oversee areas under control, liaising with supply chain for parts.
* Attend training, support team development, and participate in quality assurance.
* Respond to alarms and undertake mechanical tasks as required.
Personal Specification
* At least 3 years experience in critical environments.
* LV Authorised Person, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification.
* C&G Pts. 1 & 2, 17th Edition (18th Edition preferred).
* IOSH or NEBOSH, IPAF, L8 Awareness Training.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Proactive, professional appearance, team player, and committed to continuous improvement.
