A bright, modern veterinary practice in Peterborough is seeking a dedicated and versatile Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly, multi-vet team. This purpose-built, light-filled practice offers a welcoming and professional space for both clients and staff. With large consulting rooms, up-to-date diagnostic equipment including digital X-ray and ultrasound, and a spacious reception area, it provides an ideal setting to deliver high-quality care. Staff enjoy the convenience of on-site parking, a comfortable staff room, and even a peaceful garden — perfect for taking a breather on sunny days.
The team prides itself on its supportive culture, where wellbeing, development, and teamwork come first. You’ll be joining a close-knit group that includes three experienced vets, three skilled nurses, and four fantastic support staff, all led by an approachable Practice Manager.
About You
The ideal candidate will be RCVS-registered (or eligible for registration), confident in both medical and surgical practice, and comfortable working sole charge when required. Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused approach are essential, as is a collaborative mindset and a passion for maintaining high clinical standards.
The Role
* This is a full‑time position, though flexibility is available for the right candidate, and part‑time applications are welcome
* Open to both surgical and medical interests, with opportunities to shape caseloads and influence equipment investments
* 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am–2pm) at a nearby branch
* No out‑of‑hours, on‑call, or bank holiday work – ensuring true work‑life balance
