Due to growth within British Offsite, we have a brand new opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join our Technical Department, based out of our state of the art factory in Braintree. It’s an exciting time to join us, with external projects kicking off later this year. You will be involved in Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Defence and Education projects and you will be a part of the journey from the outset. You will be responsible for creating and managing technical drawings in line with project timescales.
You will be responsible for... The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Creation of high-quality, accurate, detailed technical drawings
Use a variety of CAD software programmes to create designs in 2D and 3D
Effective liaison with team members, architects and engineers to ensure the timely resolution of technical queries
Ensure drawings are compliant with the business and industry standards
Produce documentation to support manufacture, installation and remedial works
Maintain accurate records in accordance with business processes and filing requirements
Any other duties commensurate with this post

What we'd like in return... As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Revit, Vertex & AutoCAD or any 3D software experience
Excellent attention to detail
Understanding of building regulations
Ideally experience working within the construction industry
Comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously
Fast paced environment
