Electrician £40,000 per annum
Full time 40 hours per week
Covering the Eastliegh, Andover, Southampton, Salisbury areas
Requirements
1. Must hold the most up to date 18th Edition qualification
2. NICEIC certification or similar software equicalent
3. Must have experience working in social housing
4. Full UK Drivers Licenses (comes with a van & fuel card)
Responsibilities
5. To undertake safe electrical works on time within given priorities to the highest standard possible, striving for repairs to be a first-time fix whilst remaining compliant.
6. To effectively identify and repair faults, rewire domestic electrical systems, ensuring good quality in line with Abri standards.
7. To liaise with customers and other staff, as appropriate, to ensure all relevant individuals are aware of progress and action taken. In more complex cases to refer the matter to a senior member of staff to identify the necessary remedial action.
8. To ensure that all works comply with relevant health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures in accordance with the BS7671 - the performance of the duties of the post. To include appropriate use of equipment and PPE.
9. To set out jobs from drawings and specifications to establish the requirements of the project and requisition the necessary installation materials and ensure compliance and test systems.
10. As required, to provide electrical expertise to the planned team which involves the delivery of complete electrical works to occupied or non-occupied properties, including bathroom, kitchen works, and full property rewires.
