Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH.
* Create a nurturing, structured, and supportive classroom environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and learning.
* Develop and implement individualised Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in partnership with families and multi-disciplinary teams.
* Use trauma-informed, restorative, and behaviour management strategies to support positive outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external professionals to provide holistic support.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching approaches to meet evolving needs.
* Contribute actively to whole-school initiatives and professional development activities.
* Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies rigorously.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching pupils with SEMH.
* Child DBS on the update service
* Has a strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective strategies to support learners.
* Is patient, resilient, and committed to inclusion and positive behaviour support.
* Communicates effectively with pupils, families, and colleagues.
* Thrives in a collaborative, supportive, and dynamic SEN setting.
