Design and Technology Teacher – Stoke on Trent (September 2025)
Role Overview
Aspire People, one of the UK’s fastest‑growing education recruitment specialists, is partnering with a secondary high school in Stoke on Trent to find a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach a wide range of DT disciplines across Key Stage 3 and 4, including Food Technology. The position is initially for one term, with the likelihood of extending until July 2026, providing stability and a longer‑term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach a variety of Design and Technology subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Deliver engaging lessons across multiple disciplines including Food Technology, Product Design, and Textiles.
* Work collaboratively with the DT department team.
* Support students in developing both practical and theoretical skills.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or a related subject.
* Ability to teach all DT disciplines at KS3 and KS4.
* ECTs are welcome to apply – full support for early‑career teachers.
* Passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
