Opportunity to support the onsite cooking within Sussex Premier Health kitchen providing meals to our patients and staff.
You will be working alongside the hotel services and hostess team to ensure our patients are catered during their stay at Sussex Premier Health.
Main duties of the job
Preparation, cooking and service of food to patients, staff and consultants
Maintenance of high standards of hygiene
Observation of food hygiene/Health & Safety and COSHH regulations and policy
Ensures that all documentation/forms in line with ISO 9002 are completed to work within ISO 9002 and Investors in People requirements
Correct and economical use of materials and equipment at all times.
Reports any faults or defects in equipment to Head Chef/Hotel Services Manager
Cleaning of equipment in accordance with schedules
Menu planning
To co-ordinate and plan special theme days as and when required
Service of meals to patients and visitors
Assist and direct catering assistants as and when required.

* Evidence of good standard of general education
* Level 3 food hygiene certificate
* Previous experience of customer care
* Ability to prioritise tasks / own work load

The salary for this role is £24,937 to £26,598 a year pro rata, per annum.
