Our Tax Compliance Academy is a two-year structured development programme designed to launch your career in corporate tax. You’ll join a cohort of peers in a fast‑paced environment, gaining a strong foundation in corporate tax while developing transferable skills to become a trusted Corporate Tax Compliance professional.
At the end of the programme, you’ll continue your career journey at PwC, equipped with the expertise and confidence to thrive in one of the world’s leading professional services firms.
Location & Working Pattern
Locations: Cardiff, Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham, Watford. This is an office‑based role (5 days per week), especially during the initial months when training and collaboration are most intensive. Remote working isn’t supported at the start; we value flexibility and inclusion and are open to discussions about individual circumstances.
Application Deadline
Applications close at midnight on 12th December. We review submissions on a rolling basis and may close earlier if sufficient applications are received.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare corporate tax calculations and tax returns for a variety of clients.
* Attend structured training sessions, on‑the‑job shadowing, learning and coaching.
* Build a strong foundation of corporate tax knowledge and transferable skills.
* Learn about PwC, the services we offer and PwC values and culture.
Skills and Experience
* No previous tax experience or qualifications are required; we look for relevant skills through previous work experience.
* Quick to adapt and able to adjust to new environments.
* Ownership of personal development.
* Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
* Comfortable working independently and in a team, creating positive team spirit.
* Strong communication skills adapted to different audiences.
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Experience using Excel, Word, or equivalent software.
Recruitment Process
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. If successful, you will be invited to complete a video assessment and online assessments, followed by a final face‑to‑face interview. Successful candidates will be offered a place and will join PwC in March 2025.
