Overview of the Role
As an AGL Engineer with professional experience, you will join our aviation team based in the UK. You will focus on AGL design, while also contributing to other airfield design aspects. Your work will support a diverse range of airport projects worldwide, ensuring compliance with design standards and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
* Support Senior and Principal Airfield Engineers in developing airfield designs for UK and global airports.
* Lead or support senior-level preparation of AGL and MAG design projects.
* Understand and apply design standards across civil and military domains.
* Analyse baseline, survey, and as-built information.
* Design AGL and MAG for runways, taxiways, aprons, service roads, etc.
* Produce Civil 3D designs of AGL and MAG assets.
* Coordinate AGL designs with pavement, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
* Draft specifications for AGL, MAG, and HML works.
* Develop logical work phasing proposals for construction.
* Design and review electrical works covering all design stages.
* Prepare methodologies, design proposals, and resource estimates for bids.
* Visit UK and overseas airfields to monitor construction and report progress.
Candidate Specification

Required Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
* Demonstrable professional experience in AGL, MAG, and HML design.
