For over 24 years, GAP Electrical and Mechanical Services has delivered specialist project management, installation, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Based in Conwy, we're expanding our in-house team to support an ongoing local tunnel maintenance contract.
The Role
We're looking for time-served Electrical or Mechanical Engineers to join our team on a part-time, casual basis.
You'll work as part of a skilled team to install, operate, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and electrical (industrial) wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures.
* The planned maintenance work spans 12 tunnel closures per annum, working two night shifts 8pm to 5am on each occasion, plus adhoc reactive maintenance.
* Work scheduled 12 months in advance so you'll always know your dates for the diary.
What We're Offering
* In the region of £25 to £30 per hour, with the starting rate based on current experience.

About You
* Time-served electrical or mechanical engineer with either industrial, commercial or infrastructure experience.
* Valid CSCS card.
* Reliable, with a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
* Access to transport to commute to our Conwy office, ready for a prompt 8pm induction/night shift.
* Good communicator, and able to work alone and as part of a team.
