Position: National Account Manager
Salary: circa £50k
Key Responsibilities:
* New Business Wins: Targeted by growth in-year revenue.
* Upsell: Targeted by increase in existing customer revenue.
* Retention: Targeted by retained customers & corresponding in-year revenue.
* Framework Agreements: Targeted by Non-Mandated/ Preferred Supplier/ Mandated.
* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans leveraging market analysis, competitor insights, and customer feedback.
* Relationship Building: Nurture and expand relationships with key national accounts, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings, customer service, and market expansion.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise CRM and advanced data analytics tools to optimize sales processes and tailor customer engagement strategies.
Requirements:
* Experience: Extensive experience in sales and account management, specifically in national or key account roles within service industries/Data Security.
* Track Record: Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets with a strategic approach to business development and market penetration.
* Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
* Technology Proficiency: High level of proficiency in CRM software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Business Results: Achieved outstanding business unit results in customer retention and development of existing customers to drive revenue.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to create a sense of urgency and quickly align teams around a worthy cause.
* B2B Services: Proven experience in business-to-business services involving varying service/sales cycles.
* Pressure Handling: Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Technology Integration: Experience with CRM software and its effective use to improve marketing efficiencies and drive prospect/customer engagement.
* Technical Skills: Extensive experience in high-volume/high-transaction environments.
* Legal Requirements: Must be qualified to work in the UK and have a clean criminal record.
* Driving Licence: Full clean driving license.
