Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm with a global reach, delivering innovative projects across multiple sectors. They are now seeking an experienced Bids coordinator / Manager to join their London team, bringing strong organisational expertise along with proven experience in bid coordination and proposals.
What You'll Do
* Support technical staff to present their expertise in clear, client-friendly language, ensuring that all written materials meet evaluation criteria and align with legal and quality requirements.
* Work with the London leadership team to develop client-focused materials such as value propositions, presentation templates, and proposal tools, while maintaining a library of content, CVs, and project experience.
* For strategic opportunities, lead the bid process by creating plans, guiding teams, and ensuring submissions are high quality, persuasive, and aligned with win strategies.
* Benchmark success rates and identify ways to continuously improve proposals and bidding processes.
* Mentor and guide colleagues across marketing, communications, technical, and support teams to sharpen proposal quality and ensure consistent messaging aligned with client expectations and Group objectives.
* Build relationships across the firm, influence stakeholders, and foster a culture where teams feel supported and empowered to deliver their best work.
What We're Looking For
* At least four years of experience in bid management, ideally with exposure to pursuits and submissions, bid design, and process management.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clarify complex information.
* Ability to represent the client in the market, provide exceptional client service, and contribute to a safe, collaborative, and high-performing workplace.
