Our client, a leading international reinsurance organisation, is seeking an experienced Head of Balance Sheet Optimisation to join their growing Dublin-based team.
This is a senior leadership role within a newly established ALM & Balance Sheet Management function, offering the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide balance sheet strategy, capital efficiency, and commercial decision-making across a complex global portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and embedding of a best-in-class balance sheet optimisation capability
* Drive enterprise-wide ALM and balance sheet strategy across capital, liquidity, earnings and investments
* Develop and enhance optimisation analytics, modelling capabilities and reporting frameworks
* Partner with senior stakeholders across Investments, Finance, Risk and Actuarial
* Represent the function at executive committees and key strategic forums
Requirements
* Qualified Actuary with 10+ years post qualification experience
* Strong experience across ALM, investment risk, capital management or balance sheet optimisation
* Exposure to reinsurance or complex insurance environments
* Experience with modelling and analytics tools such as Python, SQL, Prophet, R or Power BI
* Strong commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
