ROLE OVERVIEW PURPOSE OF JOB The purpose of the role is primarily to ensure the efficient and effective on-boarding of new clients. The primary focus of the role relates to private clients across all JTC Jurisdictions. The post holder will have responsibility for liaising with the Sales and Service teams in various jurisdictions to ensure that all client matters, in relation to new business, are dealt with promptly and any issues are referred to line management immediately. To proactively provide administrative support to JTC's New Business Team and international Business Development teams. By maintaining close working relationships with colleagues, the job holder will ensure JTC's standards, culture, and policy & procedures are maintained. The post holder will be expected to assist with the development of JTC's business by delivering excellent co-ordination skills and developing long-term profitable relationships with intermediaries. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Provide first class administrative support to the New Business Team and the business development team. Working within the regulatory framework as specified by JFSC and other relevant jurisdictions, to ensure that governance oversight and compliance protocols within the Group are appropriately applied to potential and new business. Maintain a high level of technical competence and market awareness in order to maximize the effectiveness, efficiency and client satisfaction during the on-boarding experience. Ensure that all new business taken on is compliant, and follows the JTC due diligence, KYC and new business procedures. Assist the New Business Team with the preparation of relevant internal approval documentation and co-ordinate with the relevant departments to obtain Business Acceptance. Ensure consistency and clarity of the Business Acceptance packs and approval documentation in order to maximize the effectiveness of relevant senior management resource. Ensure compliant and orderly transition of Potential to Live clients in accordance with JTC due diligence, KYC and new business procedures. Be aware of and play an active role in the achievement of "New Business" targets. Manage, organize and input data onto Salesforce. Ensure relevant New Business Trackers are updated in a timely manner. Liaise with Directors and other members of the Global Business Development team as a matter of routine. Seek advice when faced with difficult issues/problems. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent Basic understanding of Trust & Company structures and role holders Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure Ability to prioritise effectively Excellent attention to detail Excellent telephone skills
