We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Admin Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work, is comfortable with technology, and is looking for a flexible, supportive working environment.
You will be someone who is passionate about making a difference and understands the importance of confidentiality, sensitivity, and cultural awareness in a safeguarding environment.
Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support including managing phone calls, emails, and filing systems
Assist with maintaining accurate and confidential records of young people and support activities
Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings,
Support the preparation of reports,
Assist in tracking and organising various forms, referral documents, and support plans
Work closely with support workers, directors and company PA to ensure efficient case management
Assist with processing invoices and expenses on Xero (training can be provided)
Support financial tracking and receipts using Dext and Xero (training can be provided)
Qualifications
Experience in an administrative or clerical role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
Comfortable using or learning cloud-based platforms
Experience in a safeguarding, social care, or youth sector environment is an advantage but not essential.
Awareness of issues affecting asylum-seeking young people and trauma-informed approaches is a plus
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, ideally spread across 3–4 days. Flexibility in working pattern is possible and can be discussed at interview.
