The Accounts Assistant will provide support to the Finance Department. The primary duty will be to coordinate and verify accurate and timely financial information for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuringpliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limitedpanies.
2. Management Accounting: Assist with the preparation of management accounts,
3. Taxpliance: Prepare and assist with the submission of various tax returns, including VAT, personal, and business/corporation taxputations for clients.
4. Bookkeeping & Reconciliations: Perform advanced bookkeeping tasks, includingplex bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate ledgers using accounting software (, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
5. Internal Controls & Systems: Evaluate and review clients' internal accounting systems and controls, rmending improvements to mitigate risks (, fraud, data security weaknesses).
Keys skills Required:
6. AAT Level 4 is a minimum requirement.
7. Practice Industry experience
8. Payroll experience
9. Proficiency In Software (Sage, Peoplesoft, QuickBooks, Xero)
10. Advanced excel skills for data analysis
