Leading ATV/UTV dealership commited to ensuring their customers' agricultural and special purpose machines perform consistently in demanding environments are looking to hire a mechanic. Primary responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles such as ATVs (All-Terrain Vehicles), UTVs (Utility Task Vehicles), and other off-road vehicles. Key Responsibilities - Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on Polaris vehicles and other off-road machinery. - Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new machines. - Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and technical expertise. - Carry out warranty and recall repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines. - Maintain accurate service records and job sheets. - Adhere to health and safety standards and ensure a tidy, organised workshop. - Provide technical advice to customers and support the sales team when required. - Stay updated with Polaris training and technical bulletins. What Is Expected? - Qualified Mechanic (NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent). - Experience with off-road vehicles, agricultural machinery, motorcycles, or similar equipment preferred but not essential. - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Full UK driving licence (trailer towing licence advantageous). - Good communication and customer service skills. - Passionate about delivering high standards and continuous learning.
